How can you contribute to the School Fund?
Families can donate to the School Fund via ParentPay. Contributions can be made in this way at any time. The two payment items are; GLPNS School Fund Donation WITH Gift Aid Consent 2020/21 and GLPNS School Fund Donation with No Gift Aid Consent 2020/21. If you would like to make your contribution to the School Fund by standing order, please complete the attached form and return it to the school office.
The CAT is a recognised charity for tax purposes, so Green Lane is now eligible for Gift Aid. This enables us to reclaim the tax (at 25p for every £1 donated) on all donations that are "Gift Aided", providing the School Fund with a vital source of extra income at no additional cost to parents. To "Gift Aid" your donation, if you are contributing by standing order, please complete the attached Gift Aid declaration and hand it in to the school office. If at any time you want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains for us to claim the Gift Aid, it is important that you notify the school.
Copies of all forms will also be available from reception. All forms received with confidential information will be stored securely.
What should you contribute?
This is completely up to you. The current suggested contribution is £20 per pupil each year, although you can choose to support at a higher level if you wish.
We are aware that in these challenging financial times it can be difficult for families to find extra funding and do not wish to put pressure on any family in financial difficulty. Please be assured that all contributions are strictly confidential. If you choose to pay by standing order, you can of course alter contributions at any time due to a change in circumstance.
