We have come a long way since the school opened in 1950; we are now a Royal Borough of Kingston School with capacity for 420 full-time pupils, 34 part-time nursery pupils.  We also offer afternoon nursery exteded provision.  For 3-11 year olds we serve breakfast from 7.30am, have afterschool care until 6.00pm and clubs during the school holidays.

We are a two-form entry Community Primary School for boys and girls, admitting children from the age of 3+ to 11+.  The number of children on roll has risen from 280 in 1999 to over 400, and will continue to rise until the school reaches its maximum of 472 pupils. As the school is situated on the borders of Kingston, Sutton and Merton we accept children from a wide community and in accordance with Kingston's admission Policy.

Our school has sixteen classes catering for a full range of ability across the National Curriculum within Foundation Stage, Key Stage one and  Key Stage two including two morning Nursery classes.  School begins at 9.00am but all children are encouraged to come into school from 8.45am to participate in early morning activities. Class teachers are responsible for the children’s welfare and delivery of the curriculum. Work is planned jointly, in Year Teams of two teaching staff with close liaison, communication and support from our teaching assistant team. During planning, Year Teams share the preparation of work, drawing on different experiences, knowledge and expertise to ensure work is relevant and well matched to meet the needs of the children. In this way, we are able to utilise the strengths of a large staff team and enhance the quality of learning and teaching.

In addition to the school day we offer high quality childcare from 7.30am-6.00pm.  To serve the residents of Worcester Park and the surrounding areas we hire out our facilities to Grace Church and Surrey Kickboxing, we are also a host school for family learning in Kingston.  Our Parent/Teacher association run regular community events throughout the year.  We are passionate about ensuring that we stay at the heart of our community, giving everyone the best education and opportunities possible. Nurturing the Potential in Everyone.
