Our extended care, The Green House, runs a Breakfast club, After School club and Holiday club.
Sunrise, Sunset and Evergreen(Holiday club) at The Green House all share the same ethos of Green Lane Primary School and are governed by their policies. They offer a range of activities and environments for children to enjoy their time, whether relaxing, playing or socialising with their peers. The Clubs will mirror the home environment and will offer a safe, happy environment, supervised by professional, experienced staff.
Children are supervised by club staff at all times during club hours until they are collected by their parent (or named substitute). The parent/guardian must give WRITTEN permission if they wish a child to go home unaccompanied. This is only agreed for children over 9 years.
Places can be booked for regular use for one or more days per week, OR (subject to available places) occasional/one off bookings may be made. A registration form must be completed and signed prior to a child being accepted into any of the sessions.
FEES AND PAYMENT
Sunrise: £5 per child per session
Sunset 1 : £5.50 per child per session
Sunset 2: £11.00 per child per session
Evergreen: 8am-6pm £22 per child per session
9am-3pm £16 per child per session
Sunrise and Sunset sessions: Places should be booked half termly/termly/yearly in advance via email, these will be confirmed by email. All sessions should be paid for weekly/monthly in advance either through your child’s parent pay account or with childcare vouchers.
Ad-hoc bookings should be paid for on parent pay at the time of booking in order that your child’s account is in credit before a session is attended.
Refunds for absences will only be given in exceptional circumstances. Cancellations of sessions need to be made by the Friday of the week before.
There will be a £1.00 per 5 minutes charge, after 2 instances of late collection. Where there is persistent late collection the child may not be allowed to return to the club.
Evergreen sessions: Bookings open for the whole academic year at the beginning of the new school year in September. All bookings are made via email and will be confirmed via email. Cancellation of any sessions need to be made via email at least 2 weeks prior to the start of a holiday club, after this time cancellation will be subject to the place being filled by another child.
SICKNESS, ACCIDENTS, FIRST AID AND EMERGENCIES
If a child becomes ill during a cub session, every attempt will be made to contact one of the people listed on the registration form, to arrange collection of the sick child. The child will be cared for until collected.
In the case of a minor accident, basic First Aid will be administered.
In the case of an accident requiring more than basic First Aid, every attempt will be made to contact the parent/legal guardian to advise or discuss with him/her the course of action to be taken.
The registration form contains an AUTHORISATION giving the Club Manager permission to act in “loco parentis”. If the parent/legal guardian cannot be contacted in time, the Club Manager will invoke that authority to take action to gain appropriate medical treatment for the child. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO GIVE SUCH AUTHORISATION PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NOTED THIS IN THAT PART OF THE REGISTRATION FORM. All accidents and emergencies will be entered in the Accident/Incident book.
THE GREEN HOUSE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY CHILD TO ANY OF THE CLUB SESSIONS UNLESS A COMPLETED, SIGNED REGISTRATION FORM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED BY THE PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN
